Jack French a background in humanitarian assessment and building capacity of government and civil society actors on Disaster Risk Management, Emergency Response, and Education and Protection in Emergencies, working in Asia and the Pacific with NGOs Oxfam and Save the Children, and with United Nations Development Program (UNDP). He has worked in Timor-Leste, Indonesia, Fiji, Tonga, Solomon Islands, Vanuatu and Afghanistan.

As Program Director, he is responsible for leading the research team to provide monitoring and evaluation services for development partners and UN agencies, as well as identifying, developing and institutionalizing ATR’s internal research knowledge and organizational systems. In the past year Jack has led large research studies for the United Nations Assistance Mission in Afghanistan, Norwegian Refugee Council, and the Swedish Committee for Afghanistan.
